The Torrance Cultural Arts Center is the place where everything fits together surprisingly, modern design, natural beauty, and art together in a unique multi-use complex, this center was built for convenience and diversity, within it, there are meeting and banquet rooms, studios for visual and performing arts.
Torrance Cultural Arts Center Hours of Operation
The center has established box office hours Tuesday through Friday from 1 pm to 8 pm, Saturday from 12 noon to 8 pm, or you may purchase tickets online, by phone with a credit card by calling 310.781.7171 or in person at the theater box office.
To enter the theater it is mandatory that each person has a ticket, tickets purchased cannot be exchanged or refunded, each event that takes place in the center can be modified by its organizers.
This complex is administered by the Torrance Department of General Services through its Administrative Offices.
Classes, exhibitions, and programs within the Torrance Museum of Art are provided through a Division called Cultural Services, which is part of the Community Services Department.

Meeting and Banquet Rooms
The Torrance Cultural Arts Center has the Toyota Meeting Hall banquet rooms.
Full of elegance, simplicity, and modern design, a premier venue for any event, it is a spacious room with seating for 300 people, theatre-style seating, 270 seats for dining, 250 seats for dining and dancing, and 126 seats for seminars. The furniture and equipment are flexible and easily customized to meet the most demanding event needs, from weddings, banquets, receptions, seminars, trade shows, and even business meetings.
There is also the Ken Miller Recreation Center, with two event spaces with a kitchen that connects through an open foyer to an auditorium with plenty of natural light, a stage that can easily accommodate a DJ or band, and a function room next door with hardwood floors and track lighting.
The George Nakano Theater and Garden Meeting Rooms, a more intimate space suitable for bachelorette parties or wedding parties held at the center, is divided by a customized wall and two separate entrances that make the room configuration flexible, where visitors can enjoy the wonderful view of the Japanese garden.

Pine Wind Japanese Garden is a Japanese garden designed by a National Landscape Award winner Takeo Uesugi, a special quiet area for a wedding ceremony, to rest peacefully and other events that require a relaxing atmosphere, with a very aesthetic and picturesque landscape, an environment where groups can use accommodations to enhance the atmosphere of the events taking place.

James R. Armstrong Theatre
The James R. Armstrong Theatre is a fully equipped, state-of-the-art, 502-seat theatre that hosts performances and events, conferences, lighting, sound, and all the features of a flexible stage, professional and community productions, and a variety of large-scale meetings, film screenings, and seminars.
Luxurious seating and very high-quality acoustics and technology ensure quality entertainment, and the backstage stage tent and dressing rooms offer the best critical resources for groups and events.
Wilson Park Amphitheatre
This rental performance facility, the newest of its kind in Torrance, is functional for theatrical performances, concerts and films.
Performing and visual arts studios
Here you will find art studios, design studios, arts and crafts studios, dance and exercise studios prepared with special equipment for dance classes and events, spring floors, ballet barres and mirrored walls.
